yesterday michelle did an interview about the shine project for nbc news. and i had the chance to tag along! they did such an amazing job and i cannot believe all the amazing things shine is doing!

it was so fun to just see michelle and get caught up. i was amazed with how much healthier she looked and it seemed that the special light she always has was showing even brighter. we talked about a lot of different things but i was most amazed when i told her a few things that i was struggling with in my life and she was so caring and concerned.
i left that day feeling so motivated to do better in my life not only from michelle but from the shine project.
on saturday ashley is putting on a shine project to help to domestic violence center. you can read more about it here. and when she was telling michelle about it michelle was so willing to volunteer. both of these women are so inspiring. it was such a blessing to spend the day with them.
